US Iron Supplemented BCS
人工乳で育てられた仔牛から静脈穿刺法で回収された血清には、高濃度のトランスフェリンが含まれています。サーモフィッシャーサイエンティフィックではこの血清に鉄イオンを添加して、鉄イオンと結合したトランスフェリン（トランスフェリン鉄）の濃度を生理的な濃度になるように調製しており、FBSやウマ血清と比べて3～4倍のトランスフェリン鉄が含まれています。US Iron Supplemented BCSは、0.1 μmフィルター精製を3回行っています。
